Rooms

We have six types of rooms. On the one hand, we have the traditional rooms for one or two people and, on the other, the family rooms or suites. We also have a few deluxe rooms that have a balcony or terrace.
You can check in from 2 p.m. Will you be arriving earlier? Let the hotel know.

Traditional rooms for one or two people: with one double bed or two single beds. This welcoming, modern room has a wooden floor, its own bathroom with walk-in shower, air-conditioning, a satellite television, a hair-dryer, a telephone, a USB charge point. Free Wi-Fi.

Deluxe room: with one double bed. This welcoming, modern room has a view of the city, its own bathroom with walk-in shower or bath, air-conditioning, a television, a hair-dryer, a telephone, a USB charge point and a refrigerator with water. Free Wi-Fi.

Family room: with one double bed and 1 bunk bed. This modern room with a wooden floor and its own bathroom with a shower or bath has air-conditioning, a television, a USB charge point.

Family suite: with two double beds and one bunk bed. This modern room with a wooden floor and its own bathroom with a bath has air-conditioning, a television, a USB charge point.

It is possible for a cot to be placed in the room (free of charge). Please do tell us in advance.
Our hotel has four adapted rooms for disabled guests, one of which is on the ground floor. If you require an adapted room, it is always a good idea to contact the hotel in advance to check availability.
Our hotel has several connecting rooms. These rooms are two rooms connected by a door in-between them. If you would like connecting rooms, it is always better to contact the hotel in advance to check availability.
The rooms are cleaned every day, unless you post a ‘do not disturb’ sign on the door.
Our rooms do not have a sea view.
Our hotel is completely smoke-free, which means there is no smoking in the rooms. If a person smokes in their room anyway, we will be forced to charge a sum of 250 euros. Our deluxe rooms have their own balcony or terrace with an ashtray and are therefore ideal for smoking.

The entire hotel has free Wi-Fi. Reception will be happy to help if there are problems with connecting to the Wi-Fi.
The hotel does not have its own restaurant, but does serve snacks at the bar between 6 and 10 p.m. There are also many takeaway possibilities or restaurants in the area to enjoy a delicious meal.
The wellness centre with heated indoor swimming pool, steam room and sauna with extra infrared lights is open every day from 7 a.m. to midnight provided a reservation is made beforehand.
We are happy to offer towels after relaxing in our wellness centre. These are available at reception free of charge.
We offer lunch packs. These can be reserved the evening before at reception.
Our Harbour Bar serves refreshing drinks, local beers and wine. The bar is open every day for our hotel guests until 11 p.m.

Breakfast

Room service is not offered.
Breakfast is available between 7 and 10 a.m. on weekdays and between 7 and 11 a.m. in the weekend.

Breakfast is EUR 21.00 per person. Children up to 10 years old pay 10.50 euros and the youngest up to 3 years are free.

We offer a hot and cold breakfast buffet with local and homemade dishes.
No grab ‘n go breakfast is offered.

Sustainability

Back office: We invest more into digitisation and therefore we use less paper. Gadgets: The items we use for our goody bags and welcoming gifts are carefully selected while firmly focusing on the environment and sustainability. Examples include reusable drinking bottles, cotton bags, etc. Hotel: Plastic cups in the bathroom have been replaced with glasses Avoiding using plastic at breakfast Preventing the use of printed matter as much as possible Using single-use packaging as little as possible Waste processing on 4 levels (paper/carton, PMD (plastic, metal and beverage packaging/packs), glass and residual waste) Preventing the use of portion bags as much as possible (for example, separately packaged chocolates)

Surrounding area

The hotel is located in a green area, 4 km from the beach and 800 m from the ‘Nieuwpoort City’ tram stop. The address is Brugse Steenweg 41, 8620 Nieuwpoort.

Directly across from the fish market, on the Kaai and near the Nieuwpoort City tram stop, there are numerous restaurants.
The hotel is easily accessible by public transport and by car.
A Carrefour is located on Kaai.
There are many tourist activities near the hotel. We have the largest marina in Northern Europe, the Westfront Museum, the nature reserve and a children’s farm.
Our hotel has a paid car park that includes security.
The cost of parking your car is EUR 0.80 an hour.
It is not possible to reserve a parking place in advance.

Payment

Children pay as from the age of 16.
It is possible to pay at the hotel with cash, Bancontact, Maestro, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, eco-vouchers (Edenred & Sodexo) and consumption vouchers (Edenred & Sodexo).
No credit card? Not a problem! It is also possible to pay on our website with Bancontact. No bank card? Do not hesitate to contact us by phone (+32 (0)499 90 48 09) because it is also possible to reserve without a guarantee. There are strict conditions linked to making a reservations without a guarantee. The hotel can cancel reservations without a guarantee until 2 p.m. on the day of arrival.

The city tax is 2 euros per person per night.

ibis Styles Nieuwpoort has numerous partners, one of which is Bongo. If you want to reserve through a partner, this must be done through the site of the partner. Direct reservations from partners are not accepted.

Practical matters

We are happy to welcome you as from 2 p.m. Have you arrived slightly early? Please inform reception when you arrive. It is possible to leave your baggage with us for safe keeping.
You can check in online using the email that you will receive a few days in advance of your made reservation.
Yes, we have a safe and lockable luggage room.
At ibis Styles Nieuwpoort, it is possible to sleep in before leaving for home; the room is yours until noon! Would you like to stay a little longer? Not a problem. For a supplement of EUR 10 an hour, it is possible to stay a little longer on the day of your departure.
You can stay with us as from the age of 18.
We are happy to welcome your faithful four-legged friend in the hotel. The supplement for your dog is EUR 15 a day.
The hotel has a paid car park that includes security.

The cost of parking your car is EUR 0.90 an hour.

Unfortunately, there are no charging points in the car park yet.
The hotel has several bicycle racks just in front of the entrance.

We ask that you keep a distance of 1.5 metres at all times.

There are sufficient hand sanitiser dispensers in the hotel to regularly disinfect your hands.

The breakfast buffet is laid out and all products are packaged individually and in accordance with the regulations. You can choose to eat your breakfast in the breakfast room or in your room. You must make a reservation if you want to eat in the breakfast room. If you do not have a CST, you are not permitted to have breakfast in the breakfast room.

Yes, the bar is open until 11 p.m. with service at your table. Snacks can also be ordered in the bar until 10 p.m. and you can choose to eat them in the restaurant or take them to your room. If you do not have a CST, you may not sit in the bar.
